Silent Character:

Special Abilities:

Modification-points:

- Each Shallant encountered (other than peasant types) will have

  20 Modification-Points (+3 per level advanced).

  Example: A level 10 Shallant would have 20 +3x its level = 50 (20 + (3x10=) 30 = 50.

The 50 Modification-Points are used to learn:

                   ABILITIES

                   DIVINE FAVORS

                   SPELLS

                   TRADE-SKILLS

Author's Note: This simplified way to build an NPC

run-in works well if you need a close-to-true

                              encounter quickly.

The best way is to set aside a block of free time

and roll up a few full character NPCs.

Place each NPC in a sheet protector and build

                              up your library over time.

Players Characters can also be added to your growing NPC collection.

NPCs defeated can be used for other NPC moments without havingt to change them, or take away that specific NPC from, say, an adventure you are building.

Creating Silent Characters makes game-play smooth.

Making true-to-scale NPC is time  consuming, so just do maybe 1-2 a week (keep it casual so you don't get burned out).

If you rolled up 1-2 NPCs a week, you would have 104 characters a year without really trying. Don't think about what you need, but the fun you can have building your campaign world.

These and spells from

any of the any character classes (no required prerequisites).

-     90% of the time, Shallant will usually choose Thief Abilities, for most of them are netorious cleptomaniacs, finding delite in "hunting for treasure" (as they put it so cheerfully).

-     Note: This does NOT apply to the common common folk (peasants). This applies to the hunters and would-be adventurers (the more hardy of the bunch).
